How does automatic website updating work?

When you sign up to Podium, your website is connected directly to your Filmmakers account.

Whenever someone visits a page on your website, Podium retrieves the latest information from Filmmakers in real time using a secure API. This means any changes you make in Filmmakers (such as updating client profiles, photos, credits, skills, or news) are automatically reflected on your website without you needing to update the same information twice.

Importantly, Podium does not store a copy of your Filmmakers data. Your website displays the latest information directly from Filmmakers, ensuring your content is always up to date while avoiding duplicate data.
